About Folly Farm Campsite

Folly Farm Cotswold Camping is a small family run site in the heart of the Cotswolds.  It is in a designated “area of outstanding natural beauty” and is situated close to the villages of Cold Aston and Notgrove.

Folly Farm Camping is only 2.5 miles from Bourton on the Water We are not far from the historic towns of Stow on the Wold and Winchcombe.

As well as cycling and walking there is horse riding, fishing and the Cotswold Farm Park nearby. South Cerney Water Parks which host a variety of water activities and the Cotswold Wildlife Park near Burford are only half an hours drive from us.

We are 20 minutes from Cheltenham famous not only for its race course but also for its Literary, Science,Music and Cricket Festivals.  Look at  The Plough is a fifteen minute walk across fields from the campsite.  For those who like a longer walk or short drive there are a number of local villages with pubs that serve excellent food (The Black Horse in Naunton, The Hollow Bottom in Guiting Power).  All the amenities of Bourton on the Water are 2.5 miles from the site.

We offer basic facilities that include 4 showers, 7 toilets, dishwashing facilities, 12 electric hook-up points and a chemical WC disposal point.

The site has no external lighting.  This makes it an attractive place to stay for those who enjoy stargazing or simply like to sleep in total darkness. It is important that all campers remember to bring a working torch and use it after dark.

We welcome BBQ’s but ask that all  BBQ’s are raised to prevent the ground becoming scorched. Sorry, no open fires.

We have two public footpaths that run through the site.  There are miles of wonderful walks to be enjoyed in the area and lots of villages and lanes to be discovered by walkers and cyclists or for the less energetic by car.  To discover more about the Cotswolds look at
