Local Attractions
Although it has been the wettest summer for the last 100 years we have
been able to avoid the worst of the mud thanks to well-draining soil and
Sue and Ken's hard work.
We have recently added a new Camper's
Cabin where there is a small freezer and a fridge and power points for
re-charging phones and other portable electronics. There is no charge
for using these facilities!
The Plough Inn in the local village
of Cold Aston is due to to open in March 2013. It has been closed for 2
years and we are very excited that it will open again. It is a 15
minute walk across fields from the campsite.
The Notgrove Social Club has an
open bar on Friday evenings. Campers are very welcome! Notgrove is a
picturesque village which is less than a mile from the campsite.
The
Folly Farm hens are laying plenty of eggs which are for sale, we also
have fresh milk and other essentials: please ask Sue at reception.
